There is still much work to be done to entrench a positive attendance culture; experience has shown that the relationship between employees and their immediate managers is a critical factor in assisting this change. In summary, influence is not as good as control but it is good enough when you can harness the talents of others. That is the role of the project manager – that is the role of all managers.
