How to order or purchase a Print-on-Demand book

You can order a PoD book by using our online shopping cart.

1. Find the title you wish to purchase.
2. Click on:
   
   You will need to complete Steps 1 and 2 for each title you wish to purchase.
3. To view your shopping cart, click on:
   
   located on the menu at left.
4. If you are happy with your order, click on:
   
   and enter your Delivery Details and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
5. Click on:
   
6. Choose your payment method.
   To pay by credit card through the online system, click on:
   
   To pay by cheque/money order, select:
   
   Once you have finished, close your browser or continue browsing the E Press website. If you wish to make another order, you can clear your shopping cart.

Alternatively, you can download the order form (rtf) and either fax, email or post it to us. Please ensure that you have filled in all the relevant details on the order form (rtf).

What is a Print-on-Demand Book

ANU E Press PoD books are perfect-bound paperbacks with glossy covers that are produced from a single source file (XML). PoD books can be printed one at a time or in small print runs using a digital printing system. When a customer orders a PoD book, the order is sent from ANU E Press to our Digital Printers. The printers then produce the PoD book and send it to the customer within 14 working days (in Australia) or 21 working days (overseas). The finished product is equivalent in quality to an offset print book.

Ordering a title co-published with another publisher

ANU E Press also publishes titles with other publishers within the ANU. The method of ordering a title that E Press has co-published varies depending on the agreement E Press has with that particular co-publisher. E Press handles all print-on-demand orders unless otherwise specified on the title citation page, for example, ‘Order Print-on-Demand Copy via Asia Pacific Press’ or ‘Order Print-on-Demand Copy via the RSPAS Bookshop’.
